Terms and Conditions

Effective date: to be confirmed ยท Operated by CatchyMinds, Hyderabad, Telangana, India

In Plain Language

1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the CatchyMinds Learning Management System (the "Platform," "LMS," or "Service"), operated by CatchyMinds ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

By creating an account, logging in, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a minor student (see Section 3.2), your acceptance binds you as the responsible party, not the minor.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not register for or use the Platform.

2. Definitions

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

3.1 General

Teacher, Admin, and Writer accounts are intended for adults (18 years or older). Parent/Guardian accounts are intended for the adult parent or legal guardian of an enrolled Student.

3.2 Minor Students โ€” Parent/Guardian Consent

Where a Student is under 18 years of age:

3.3 Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, current information when registering, and to keep it up to date.

3.4 Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Activity carried out under your login is treated as carried out by you, except to the extent it results from a security failure on our part.

3.5 One Account Per Person

Each User should hold one account matching their actual role. Sharing an account, or creating multiple accounts to misrepresent your role, is not permitted.

4. User Roles and Access

5. Fees and Payment

Certain programs, courses, or features may require payment of fees.

CatchyMinds may change fees for future enrollment periods; changes will not retroactively apply to fees already paid for a current period unless required by law.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 CatchyMinds Content

Courses, videos, guess papers, gist papers, certificates, and other institutional Content are the property of CatchyMinds and are provided for personal, non-commercial use by enrolled Users only. You may not download, reproduce, redistribute, or share Content outside the Platform except where explicitly provided for that purpose.

6.2 Writer-Authored Content

Content prepared by a Writer at CatchyMinds' direction becomes CatchyMinds' property upon submission, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

6.3 Student and Teacher Submissions

Assignments and other material you submit remain your property. By submitting them, you grant CatchyMinds a licence to store, display, and process that material as needed to operate the Platform.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our separate Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you also agree to that Privacy Policy.

9. Communications

You consent to receiving communications related to your account and the Service โ€” including assignment reminders and administrative notices โ€” by email or within the Platform.

10. Suspension and Termination

CatchyMinds may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms. You (or, for a minor Student, their parent/guardian) may request account deactivation by contacting us (Section 16), subject to legal retention obligations.

11. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is." The Platform is a tool to support learning; it does not guarantee any particular academic outcome.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CatchyMinds' total liability arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed to be confirmed. CatchyMinds is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify CatchyMinds against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Platform, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email before they take effect.

17. Acknowledgment

By creating an account, or by creating or approving a Student account on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
